Education
Patricia is a General Psychologist who completed her training at the University of Sydney and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology.
Experience
She has extensive experience in the provision of clinical assessment and evidence-based treatment interventions across a range of settings, including public health, community health and private practice. Patricia has years of broad clinical experience helping individuals with a wide range of psychological difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, substance use concerns, ADHD and emotional regulation issues.
Approach to Care
Patricia is passionate about helping her clients build insight and gain skills to manage their problems. She draws upon evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies, and is focused on helping clients improve their mental health and live in a way that brings meaning and purpose, despite the pain and challenges they face.
