Education

Igida completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in the United States before undertaking a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Committed to ongoing professional development, he continues to expand his clinical knowledge and skills to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of physiotherapy care.

 

Experience

Prior to his physiotherapy career, Igida served as a medic in the Korean Marine Corps, gaining valuable experience in acute injury management, rehabilitation, and working under pressure in demanding clinical environments. He has a particular interest in the assessment and management of sports injuries, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and neurological rehabilitation, and has a special interest in incorporating Newton Box Therapy as part of neurological rehabilitation where appropriate.

 

Approach to Care

With his background in exercise science, Igida believes rehabilitation extends beyond pain relief. His approach focuses on improving movement quality, building strength and resilience, and empowering patients to achieve long-term health and performance outcomes. He is passionate about helping patients restore movement, reduce pain, and regain confidence through individualised, evidence-informed treatment plans, and values building strong relationships with his patients — working collaboratively to help them achieve their goals and return to the activities they enjoy.
